From our initial phone call all the way to receiving our full video, Nick has consistently been kind, curious, creative, and thoughtful. The amount of thought and detail he puts into every single second of the videos he creates is truly unreal.
We had countless people tell us our videos were the best they've ever seen. It felt like we weren't just watching our wedding love story, but an actual movie. What sets Nick apart is how much he truly invests in his work and he's absolutely amazing as a person. We're trying to find excuses for us to work with him again!

There's a phrase in Japanese culture called "Ichigo Ichie,” that I feel best sums up the way I view life and approach every wedding I film.
Ichigo Ichie has been translated as "for this time only" and "once in a lifetime.” The term reminds people to cherish any gathering that they may take part in, citing the fact that any moment in life cannot be repeated, even when the same group of people gets together in the same place again, a particular gathering will never be replicated, and thus each moment is always a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
What you and I will create together will be one-of-a-kind because of this belief, Ichigo Ichie. Your wedding will be unique and beautiful because it will be a completely new experience for me, and I will view it as such.
It's a good reminder to stay present to what's in front of me + pay attention to the beauty all around me. It's a good reminder for you as well. It's a reminder to let go and trust your team of vendors to take care of you so you can be present to this once-in-a-lifetime moment that cannot be replicated.

WE USED NICK AND HIS TEAM FOR OUR WEDDING IN JUNE! WHEN MY DAD DIED 4 MONTHS BEFORE OUR WEDDING, I WAS DEVASTATED FOR SO MANY REASONS, BUT ONE OF THOSE WAS THAT I WAS NOT GOING TO HEAR THE WORDS THAT HE WOULD SAY AT OUR WEDDING.
I REMEMBER WATCHING MY SISTER’S WEDDING AND THINKING HOW SPECIAL THAT MOMENT WAS. I NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS IMAGINED WALKING AWAY FROM THIS VIDEO TRULY FEELING LIKE HE WAS THERE, SAYING ALL OF THOSE THINGS TO MY HUSBAND AND I.
NICK GAVE ME THAT MOMENT BACK. AND I AM FOREVER GRATEFUL. I JUST DON’T KNOW HOW HE DOES WHAT HE DOES, BUT IT TRULY IS A GIFT. HIS ABILITY TO TELL A STORY IS AMAZING AND HE TRULY GETS TO KNOW EACH COUPLE HE WORKS WITH! Nick absolutely crushed our wedding video! From the start, Nick helped us to create a vision for our video that we were having trouble to articulate. We knew we wanted to capture our loved ones, the special moments of us as a couple, and the FUN that was had by all.
During the wedding, the Jones & Co team was so kind, patient and helpful. They also worked seamlessly with our photographers and wedding planners. We were absolutely blown away when we saw everything come together in video. I think we still watch it once a week (minimum) and we've been married for nearly 6 months now! I highly recommend Nick and team! We couldn't imagine our wedding being captured by anyone else!

Here are a few ways to help you feel less camera-shy during your wedding.
CONSIDER PRE-WEDDING SHOOTS
A pre-wedding videography session can help ease many nerves. It provides us with the opportunity to get to know each other better and feel comfortable around each other before the big day. It also gives us more incredible footage to use in your wedding film.
FOCUS ON YOUR PARTNER
There’s probably a good reason, (well, reasons) you’re getting married to the person you are. You already know how to be with and around each other. There’s a certain level of comfort that comes from knowing that your partner has your back. If at any time you feel overwhelmed, lean on each other. We can also take breaks if you need it. You know each other's best angles and poses, and we want to make sure we capture that. Work with us and let us know if anything feels off for you.
FEELING CAMERA READY
Here are a few ways to help you feel less camera-shy during your wedding.
PRACTICE AT HOME
Of course, you’ll practice your vows and possibly your wedding dance. You can also practice being on camera by filming little home vlogs with your phone. They don’t need any production value, and you certainly don’t need to share them. However, practicing being filmed is one of the best ways to give you a lifetime of confidence in front of a camera. Or comb through Tiktok and find samples of what you know you like.
DON’T SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF
If something unexpected happens, know that one small moment doesn’t undo the beauty of the entire day. It’s easy to let things build up in our minds, but we must focus on what we can actually control. Trust your vendors to take care of you, as well as anything that may unexpectedly come up. We do this for a living. We’ve got your back.
